We know worship is a call of all believers and a vital part of our discipleship journey. One of the ways we facilitate worship is through our weekend services. These services are structured around the values of: Celebration, Inspiration, Preparation, and Salvation.
Community
Real life change happens in the context of relationships. In the Bible, believers worshipped in the temple but ministry also happened house to house. Life Groups are one of the ways we facilitate community at Victory Life. Each Campus’s groups can be found at our Online Directory.
Serving
All of us were created by God to make a difference in the life of another person. God has a place for you where your unique abilities and passions can touch the lives of others. Serving helps us to grow into the image of Christ and discover purpose. We believe your life will never make sense until you find, develop, and fulfill that purpose. Our TEAMS provide people a place to start serving during our service times. We also have numerous ways to serve within our communities.
We, the leaders of Victory Life (those who are an example for others to follow), in order to:

HONOR
“Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another.” Romans 12:10 (NKJV)
“Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.” Romans 13:7 (NKJV)
1. We agree to submit to and not undermine God-given, God-appointed authority. [Hebrews 13:17]
To have authority, one must be under authority. [Matthew 8:5-10]
As God establishes rank and order, we will flow together in grace and love. [Exodus 18:21; Romans 13:1]
Authority is for edification, not destruction; we will love, respect, and serve all, rather than abuse and harm. [Matthew 20:25-28; 2 Corinthians 10:8; Romans 13:8-10]

UNITY
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! 1. We will not participate in nor be a party to church splits. [Ephesians 4:1-3]
We agree to not cause or allow division in the Body of Christ. [1 Corinthians 12:25]
The reproach that’s been brought on Christ through arguing, fussing, and fighting must come to an end. [1 Corinthians 3:3]
The consequences of disunity are too costly. [James 3:15; Romans 16:17]
Unity is defined within diversity, not conformity.
2. We bind together relationally in which divorce is no option.

The church has suffered because we church hop:
We commit into a new body when things get tough, we then quit and leave. [2 Timothy 2:2]

TRUST
“And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. And be at peace among yourselves.” 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 (KJV)
1. We will remain open to correction from those who love us. [Proverbs 19:20; Luke 17:3-4; Proverbs 27:5-7; Proverbs 9:7-9]
While trust is something earned and built, we must commit to the process.
Trust is developed as we come to know one another, and involves being open, honest, vulnerable, and transparent.
2. We will not receive accusations against one another.
We must have one another’s backs in order to have effective, long-term ministry. [Revelation 12:10; 1 Timothy 5:19]
We commit to protect one another from our hearts turning against each other.
3. We commit to the “5 Day Rule” concerning offenses.
We commit to biblically resolve any offense within 5 days. [Matthew 18:15]
We will deal with all offenses internally. We will not go to others.
We love God, who reveals Himself through Jesus (the Living Word) by the Holy Spirit and the Scriptures (the written Word). The Word (Jesus Christ) is the foundation of, and the filter for, everything we believe and do.
Integrity
We understand our daily lives represent Christ. We are His witnesses through our Christ-like love, and our personal character and faithfulness. We are a church who walks in integrity.
Relationship
We believe being the church is about relationship, not legalism (rules, regulations, ritual). Therefore, we embrace you where you are, while helping you become who God has created you to be. We commit to relationship versus legalism.
Family
Jesus revealed family is near and dear to the heart of God. He is our Father and we are His children. We, as a church, commit to strengthening your family. In doing so, we long to strengthen the family of God. We are a family and we serve families.
Generosity
We believe God is our true provider. We are blessed to be a blessing, and we reap what we sow. Because of this, we commit to never manipulate or condemn you into giving or serving. Being generous is who we are, not just what we do. We believe in generosity both with our finances and with our time.
Generational
God acts generationally. Longevity and faithfulness to every generation are more important to us than short-term success. Young or old, you are welcomed and valued, and there is a place for you to serve. We are generational. We think, act, and plan with the next generation in mind. We serve the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Our hope for this reading plan is to help you pay attention to the steadfast love of God in this important season and let that love reawaken wonder in your heart. We celebrate Jesus’ first advent as a way of waiting and hoping for His second advent.

Love looks like something. Jesus coming to earth was an action that clearly demonstrated love. Christ, who is love personified, commissioned us into loving our neighbors and our enemies. This week we challenge you to go serve somewhere with your family. That may be a local food bank, an elderly friend, a single mom, or an organization that is helping those in need. No matter how you serve, let us be love to this world as we serve this week.
As we take time to pray this week, may we do so from a posture of knowing how loved we are. There is no need to beg God, for He is a good father who longs to bring His Kingdom and love to this earth through His children. Prayer is one way we partner with Him in this mission.
This week we are specifically praying over our local schools and non-profit organizations. Set aside 5 minutes each day and declare the love of God over our schools and this generation. Pray for teachers to be vessels of love and for children to know Christ’s love at a young age. Pray for positive impact to happen in our community through non-profit organizations demonstrating the love of Christ.
